Our mission at SHINE Youth Services, Inc. is to provide Safety, Healing, Independence, Nurturing, and Empowerment to every youth we serve by creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where young people can heal from trauma, develop essential life skills, and thrive.

SHINE Youth Services, Inc. is building a trauma-informed Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) for youth and young adults ages 13–21 in San Bernardino County

HEALING: Supporting youth in processing trauma, developing coping skills, and strengthening
emotional wellness.

INTEGRITY: Maintaining ethical practices, responsible stewardship, and compliance with all
applicable regulations and standards.

NURTURING: Providing consistent, caring, and supportive connections that promote trust and
belonging.

EMPOWERMENT: Helping youth build confidence, independence, decision-making skills, and self-
advocacy.

Right now, there are youth in our community facing trauma, instability, and uncertainty about where they will sleep, who will support them, and what their future holds.

SHINE Youth Services, Inc. was created to change that.

We are building a licensed Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) that will provide not just shelter but safety, structure, and healing for youth who need it most.
